This is a quote from the Associated Press:
Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates, becoming the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.
This on the heels of an announcement from the Hillary Clinton camp that she would not concede the race to Obama today, reiterating her contention that the race is not over, there are still voters that haven’t voted, and that she is still considering challenging the way the Michigan and Florida delegates were resolved.
The AP says its tally is based on comments from the so called super delegates in addition to more than a dozen private commitments. If in deed this is the case, Barack Obama will face off against Senator John McCain of Arizona in November to become the next president of the United States.

I guess Barack is closer than ever to getting the nomination. I didn’t really think Hilary would concede but they have announced on TV, not officially, that she said she would want to be the VP

Hilary has just made a speech saying she is not making any decisions right now. How does that play with the (in his own words) “skinny black kid from south Chicago” and his super delegates.

I don’t think Hilary will give it up until the convention.
