It appears that George Clooney has given girlfriend Sarah Larson the boot. His publicist (I guess you know you’ve ‘arrived’ when you announce your breakup through a publicist) says the actor and Sarah Larson really didn’t have that much in common and he wasn’t ready to move the relationship along.

With so many marriages ending in divorce these days, maybe cutting Sarah Larson loose now was the right thing for Clooney to do. Its a pretty valuable thing to be in a relationship that lets you express yourself without retribution; I think that’s probably what George Clooney is looking for and when she gets her head back on straight, Sarah Larson will probably realize that as well.

Many people believe that we cause our own destiny and if thats true there are some basic questions that you need to answer for yourself to ensure youre not sabotaging yourself and robbing all the joy that you want to experience out of life.

If they were in a relationship that they were happy with then this question is moot. But clearly Clooney and Sarah Larson were in trouble and still trying to figure out what a good relationship should be like well here’s a couple of hints.

George and Sarah could have had a relationship with open communication between the partners. They would have had communications that allowed each other to talk about their fears and also of their aspirations and goals in life without the other one laughing or making fun of them. Both Clooney and Sarah Larson would have supported each other the best they could and they would have respected each other for it.

Everything seems to be instant gratification instead of investing time in knowing another person.
