New in movie theaters is Wall-E. The company left behind an army of WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Earth-Class) robots to pick up all the trash, compress it into cubes and clean things up enough so that the human population, currently living on a distant spaceship, can return. Pixar’s new film, “Wall-E,” concerns a robot collecting garbage on an abandoned earth. As the film tells it, humans abandoned Earth sometime around 2010 when the planet became uninhabitable due to mounds and mounds of waste from consumer goods purchased from the gigantic megastore BnL (which, wittily, stands for Buy ’n Large).

In tandem parachuting, two skydivers are attached, and they dive together. Usually the other is an instructor and the “rider” is a novice learning how to skydive. The next thing you know, the earth will be rushing up to meet you as you do a free fall skydive towards it. This is another shock, since it feels like a brake stopped you in the air! You will probably also be surprised at how tight the straps feel now that you are in the air.

He always HAS been more Journey than Hank Williams, and even if he flashed Hank’s face — and those of Chuck Berry, Martin Luther King Jr. and William Faulkner — during the brand-new Southern Voice, this was never really going to be a country show. That’s lame. Right off the bat, McGraw established the rules of engagement — this would be a rock show, a country gig in name only.

this is a pretty good movie, i mean the story is alright but hey, its got Charlize Theron in it…how bad could it be to have to look at her for a couple ofhours?! It is based on the 1985 novel by John Irving. They have an extraordinary bond and Larch teaches Homer everything he knows about medicine. I don’t remember the exact arguments, but I was surprised.
